Barokní fara Štěpánská
Štěpánská – Prague 2
The Baroque rectory, which was completely renovated in 2001, offers unique single-tenant office space for rent and an extensive garden. The garden is bounded by a stone wall from Žitná Street - part of it is landscaped as a park, the other part is a parking area for 8 cars.
The property is divided into basement, ground floor, 1st floor and attic. On the ground floor there are 5 rooms; on the 1st floor there are 6 rooms, a meeting room and a kitchen; sanitary facilities on each floor. The surviving original features of the exterior of the building include a mansard roof, a façade articulated by pilasters with cornice capitals, a seven-bay main façade, a five-bay side façade or dormers with oval windows. The dominant elements of the interior are in particular the representative three-armed staircase, as well as the wall paintings and the tiled stove. Until recently, this was the seat of the economic and commercial department of the Spanish Embassy. Since 1958, the building has been protected as a national cultural monument.
